Public confessional #3

Cheers to being still here. I want the apologize to everyone about this last challenge. I know it makes me look very molish but do to uncontrollable circumstances I could not be around like I wanted to be. Yes I will admit I was on some of the time but not all. And I am truly sorry. Well here's to another big night. I'm honestly don't know if I will be here after this quiz or not. so it was great while it lasted. If I am here after this quiz, then I will know a little bit more on who the mole is.

Just me saying goodbye part 2

To start this off I'm sorry this took so long. I am surprised that I'm still in this game. I didn't really talk with Brandon (player08) all that much. On the other hand I was very shocked that Richard is out of this game. In the first challenge it really looked like he was the mole to me. Little did I know he was the next one to be executed. What a shock in a half, because I really thought he was the mole. Let's hope I do much better on the next quiz.

Public confessional #2

This week was a much better week talking with other players. Thank you all for talking with me. I had a great chat with the other players last night. I don't think I really learned all that much, about the other players that I didn't know all ready. Sorry so short this time. I just don't have much to say in this confessional, I'll have a lot more to talk about after the quiz if i'm still around. crosses fingers toes, and nose hair.

Just me saying goodbye!

First I would love to say YIPPY I'm still here. I'm not going to say I'm sorry that Ellery Queen, or player 15 is gone. I didn't talk with them. I am surprised that Cheri is gone. As far as I can see she was a great person. even though I didn't get to talk with her. That's all I have to say to that.

1st Public Confessional

Lets see how do I start this.LOL
Well I got off to a very late start in my opinion. With having problems with Aim. (I say off with its head.) and setting up my blog which I have never done before it was a very interesting start to the game. At this stage of the game I should have talked with everyone, and I still have not. I must admit I'm trying to get all the information that I can get from all the other players. I can just say this if I'm executed this week its my own damn fault.

Quiz #1

All players must post 1 public confessional and send to Travis 1 private confessional before September 3 @ 11:00 pm eastern.

The quiz will be posted September 3 @ 11:59 pm eastern, and the deadline to submit it to Travis via e-mail is September 4 @ 11:59 pm eastern.

REMEMBER... The 24 hours during the quiz constitute a “silent” period where players may not communicate with one another. Players are not permitted to be logged in to their in-game IM or Blogger accounts, and may not send one another e-mails. The 24 hours after the quiz deadline constitute a “black out” period where players may not be logged in to ANY of their in-game accounts, including e-mail. Players should watch the OMC 6 blog for updates and execution results during this time.
Challenge 1.3: Pimp My Blog (MB)

It's tradition -- the top 3 coolest blogs, as determined by me, will receive mole buck bonuses ($3 to first place, $2 to second place, $1 to third place). So go crazy and be as creative as you can!

Deadline: September 1 @ 11:59 pm eastern
Challenge 1.2: Instant Experts (LIVE) - $3

OMC 6's first live challenge will take place in an AIM chat room next week. Please go to this thread on the message board and vote on which day and time you would like to have the challenge.

This is a trivia challenge. There are 30 questions, and for each 10 questions the team answers correctly, $1 will be added to the pot. 30 minutes is the time limit, and the team may not move on to the next question until they give a correct answer.

The twist? The trivia questions are so obscure there's probably no way you'll know the answers... so I'm giving them to you. But the answers will be contained in 30 sound files that, in total, will be way too long for just one person to listen to within the time limit.

You will have to use teamwork... and trust... to divide the workload and pass the challenge.
Challenge 1.1: Psychoanalysis (LT) - $4.50

Travis will e-mail each player an inkblot. Communicating via message board, IM and/or e-mail, each player must show his/her inkblot to at least 6 other players and find out what they think it is. Then each player must compile the results into a report and post that report on his/her player blog.

$0.30 will be added to the pot for each valid report, up to a maximum of $4.50 for this challenge.

For a report to be considered valid at least three of the 6+ responses in it must have been gathered via AIM conversations.

Deadline: September 1 @ 11:59 pm eastern.

Episode 1 Challenges

Welcome, players, to Online Mole Challenge 6.

If you're wondering how to get in touch with the other players... take your ID and replace the number at the end with the number of the player you want to contact... 01 through 15. The best way to get the ball rolling is on the message board.

Note: The game will be getting off to a bit of a slow start this week, but the pace will quicken considerably after Labor Day.

REQUIRED: Set up a blog

Each player must set up a blog using their google account. Once you set up your blog, please send the URL to Travis. This blog will be used to post public confessionals during the game. It will also be used in Challenge 1.1 (below).

OMC 6 NEWS BRIEF

Psychologist, patients go missing

WASHINGTON, DC: A well-known psychologist and 15 of his patients have disappeared, according to police officials.

Dr. Trevor T. Travis and the patients have not been heard from since Thursday night. Some of the patients' homes showed sign of forced entry.

Travis was most easily recognized for his national advertising campaigns in which he told prospective patients that "life is a game -- start winning." Critics say his treatments are ethically questionable. Most infamously, Travis recreated the Milgram and Zimbardo experiments, resulting in a series of lawsuits that were later settled out of court.
